Quiet Weekend On Forest Fire Front

The Ministry of Natural Resources is reporting 10 active fires in Northwestern Ontario.
Officials say it was a quiet weekend with no new fires to report.
All 10 fires did receive rain on the weekend and aren’t showing any signs of spreading.
The fire hazard remains low for the entire region.
So far this year, 197 fires have started, burning just over 1,400 hectares.
