The Northwestern Health Unit is pleased with the participation rate
for the Ontario Quit Smoking Contest.
A number of prizes were up for grabs for smokers that could butt out
for a month.
Health Promoter Barb Roussin says 242 people across the Region took
part in the campaign.

A 55-year-old man from Wingham was the winner of the new car.
Roussin says the contest gives smokers a quit date and helps them
build a support system to succeed.
