Rabbit Lake Under Boil Water Advisory

A boil water advisory is out for the Rabbit Lake area.

City of Kenora officials say because of repairs, you’ll need to boil your water for at least a minute before you drink it, cook with it, add it to uncooked food or drink, use it to wash fruits or vegetables, or use it to make ice cubes.

That also applies to any water you use to brush your teeth, soak false teeth, or give to pets to drink.

The advisory is for the following addresses:

Mellick Avenue (454, 450, 444, 438, 434, 432, 430, 428, 426, 424, 401, 302, 306, 310, 316, 318)

Trojan Street (300, 301, 304, 305, 307, 308, 310, 311, 313, 314, 317, 318, 320, 321, 322, 323, 223, 227)

Barsky’s Crescent (20, 22, 26, 28)

14th Street North (60, 80, 100)

13th Street North (305, 308, 316)

12th Street North (405)

Mikado Avenue (300, 305, 306, 309, 310, 312, 314, 315, 318, 322, 323, 324, 325)

Veteran’s Drive (1644, 1645, 1655)

Sutherland Road (16)

All residents on the following streets are also asked to boil water before consuming it:
