Race for Mayor in Sioux Lookout

There will be a new Mayor in Sioux Lookout.
Dennis Leney and Kathy Poling are looking to replace Kathy Kiepick who
is not seeking re-election.
Leney says if elected, he will work on fixing the high cost of policing and
will partner with area community’s to secure a seperate energy plan for the North.
Poling says building on the strengths of the current Sioux Lookout Council is her main priority.
Poling says her leadership style is getting more people engaged in
Municipal decisions.
Both candidates say expanding water and sewer to the MNR Base and the
Airport is a top priority.
