Rain, Rain, Rain

Dryden Public Works crews spent all day Thursday dealing with problems raised by the never-ending rain.
Public Works Manager Keith Apland says no major problems were reported.
Apland says they dealt with several washed out roads and broken
beaver dams, mainly in the Airport Road area.
Apland stresses all roads were passable.
The City has also had to deal with sewage backups and several reports
came in about flooded basements.
Apland says the situation is improving and water levels seem to be
going down.
At 4:00pm CST Thursday, more than 74-millimetres of rain fell in a 24 period in the Dryden area alone.
The rain is expected to continue through the weekend.
