Rainy River Council

A new Council has been elected for the Rainy River First Nation and
it will be under the guidance of new Chief Jim Leonard.
Leonard won a closely contested race against incumbent Chief Albert
Hunter.
Leonard had 93 votes to Hunter’s 85, while Agnes Grover came in third.
2 newcomers were also elected to Council.
