Rainy River First Nation Set To Grow

The Rainy River First Nation, near Emo, is set to expand.

A deal with both the federal and provincial governments will see roughly 6,000 hectares of land being added for the community.

The property was first identified through a negotiated settlement back in 2005.

A release says the increased land base will allow the community to meet current and future needs and create new opportunities for its 1,100 members.
