Rainy-River Resources has started some of the work that could lead to the possible opening of a mine Northwest of Emo.
President Raymond Threlkeld says while actual mining is still a few years away, work has started on an economic impact assessment and baseline environmental studies.
He notes they’re looking at a project with multiple mines, starting with an open pit.
