Rainy River Schools Up Security Measures

Some security changes at schools across the Rainy River District.
Anyone looking to visit a school must now press a buzzer at the front door to request access.
Rainy River District School Board’s Travis Enge says it’s not intended to keep people out.
Visitors are still welcome to come to the school at any time.
The province made funding available to school boards to implement a “locked door policy” in response to the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut last December.
