Raising Awareness About Veteran’s Rights

The Auditor General says war veterans in the country still don’t get the information they need to get back into civilian life or the benefits they’re entitled.
Thunder Bay MP John Rafferty calls it deplorable and says it should be a concern here because of the closure of the Veterans Affairs office in Thunder Bay.
He says not informing them of their rights to benefits will only increase, considering there is a number of them in the region.
Rafferty says it shows the Harper government must always be watched.
