Rally In Dryden To Save ELA

A rally is being held this afternoon to protest the proposed closure of the Experimental Lakes area west of Dryden.
The rally is set for 4:30 until 6 at Kenora MP Greg Rickford’s Constituency Office on 81 Duke Street.
The Federal Government is set to close the ELA as part of the 2012 budget.
The Eagle Lake Farabout Peninusla Coalition is organizing the event.
The rally may be a moot point as the closure of ELA is part of the Government’s budget bill which is now being voted on in the House of Commons.
