One person running for Council in Red Lake is Ralph Labine.
Labine says his main priority is the maintenance of existing infrastructure in a timely and responsible manner.
He would also like to see better communication between the Township and its citizens.
Labine stresses people should understand that the Township isn’t a business and he will work for the citizens of the community.
Labine notes he has good working knowledge of municipal operations and he believes he can offer some expertise.
He worked for the Township of Balmertown and Township of Golden as a Municipal Superintendent for 10-years.
Labine was born in McKenzie Island and has lived in the community for roughly 50-years.
