Ramsay says cut red tape

Ontario’s Natural Resources Minister believes more can be done to cut costs for forest companies operating in northern Ontario.

Ramsay paid a quick visit to Kenora this morning to promote his 220 million dollar aid package for the forest industry announced yesterday.

He says cutting red tape is the next big obstacle for his
ministry.

Ramsay adds that the Ontario government has now pledged 900 million dollars for the forest industry since last June, which is more than the auto industry aid package.
