Rash Of Thefts In Ignace

A rash of thefts in Ignace has Provincial Police searching for answers.
Seven reports of break, enter and thefts have been reported in the past few days.
Someone entered a Pine Street home and stole $4,000, while someone entered an unlocked garage on Davy Lake Road and stole 5 jerry cans of gasoline and loose change.
Two thefts occurred on Pine Street and involve BMX bikes.
One bike is bright green with red tires and worth $850, while the second bike is grey in colour.
Someone stole a MTO radio and a 2-way radio from a grader on Highway 642 and a 14-foot Aluminium boat was stolen from a home on West Street.
Police are also investigating the theft of three jerry cans and two large boat gas cans from a Tapsay Street residence.
