Ray Leray Will Be Returning To KDSB

As many as three people could be acclaimed to the Kenora District Board.
Nominations closed earlier this month, with Barry Baltesson from Lake of the Woods North and Ray Leray from Oxdrift returning to the board.
Jack McKenzie is the returning officer and says they will find out Friday if there will be a race to represent Lac Seul.
Bill Blower is retiring and the search is on for a replacement.
McKenzie says they extended the deadline to file in Lac Seul because they didn’t get any candidates before the September 12th deadline.
One person has stepped forward since then.
The only vote is in Lake of the Woods South as Bob Stewart and Jack Bound are vying for the job.
