New charges have been laid in the case of Eric Wildman.
The 34 year old was the focus of a massive manhunt last week in the Whiteshell area near the Ontario/Manitoba boundary.
He was eventually arrested in Belleville following a standoff with police.
RCMP have charged Wildman with two counts of destruction of a prohibited firearm, transportation of a firearm contrary to regulations and possession of a prohibited device.
Wildman is due to appear in Winnipeg Court Wednesday and the Mounties says he still remains a suspect in the disappearance of 40-year-old Clifford Joseph.
