REBATE CHEQUES

The cheques are in the mail!
Ontario Energy Minister John Baird says Hydro One has mailed out 1 million of the $75 rebate cheques to electricity consumers, and local utilities are in the process of doing the same.
Baird defends the decision to insist utilities mail out cheques instead of giving rebates on the next bill.
Some utilities in the Northwest complain the process is too expensive.
All consumers except those in one community can expect their rebate cheque shortly.
Prices in Fort Frances are below the capped rate.
