New COVID-19 restrictions at the Memorial Arena and Recreation Centre have been introduced by the Municipality of Sioux Lookout.
Dressing room occupancy has been reduced to 10 people per room but additional dressing rooms are being made available to fill the void.
The Public Skating program has been cut to 30 individuals on the ice at one time.
Programs run from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
At the Rec. Centre:
-Weight room: Maximum 5 people, when working out; users must keep three metres or six feet apart; certain machines have been roped off in order to help ensure physical distancing.
-Cardio room: Maximum 4 people, when working out; users must keep three metres or six feet apart; certain machines have been roped off in order to help ensure physical distancing.
-Treadmill room: Maximum 3 people, when working out; users must keep three metres or six feet apart; certain machines have been roped off in order to help ensure physical distancing.
-Walking Track: maximum 4 people.
-Seniors Pickle Ball: No changes.
-Tennis: Maximum 8 people.
-Squash: No changes.
-Gymnastics: No Change.
Hours of operation at the Rec. Centre are 6:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends.
Two new COVID cases were reported in the Sioux Lookout region Wednesday.
