New and improved digs for the Regional Canadian Red Cross.
The office is located at 32 Colonization Avenue in Dryden and is spacious, handi-capped accessible and provides plenty of parking.
Branch Manager Shana Hansson says the building allows staff to better carry out their programs.
The office has room for volunteers and provides a large and user friendly training area.
Hansson says the Red Cross continues to concentrate on First Aid, Disaster Management, Seniors Transportation and they will soon be rolling out their Winter Warmth school program.
She stresses the regional organization has grown leaps and bounds.
The organization started with just one staff member but now features six staff, roughly eight First Aid instructors and more than 40-volunteers.
Hansson adds they have also two vehicles for transportation.
She says they will soon be receiving a Disaster Management vehicle so they can deal with emergencies on site.
