Red Cross Hosting Fundraiser At Walmart

Walmart and the Canadian Red Cross in Dryden are teaming up to raise funds for disaster management programs.
Disaster Management Coordinator Kari Rafter says National Bagging Day is happening Saturday from 10:00-2:00.
Rafter says Red Cross staff and volunteers will be on hand.
The campaign is already underway and runs until August 25th.
For every dollar that’s donated, Walmart will match it up to $2,000.
Rafter says the Red Cross assists those in this area impacted by a personal disaster, such as fires and floods, to municipal disasters.
