Red Cross Office Being Set Up in Remote North

A Northern First Nation will soon be home to a satellite Red Cross office.
The office is being funded in part by the Paterson Foundation and will help provide first aid, injury prevention and other services to First Nations Communities in the North.
Red Cross Manager of First Nations Melanie Goodchild-Southwind says a specific community hasn’t been chosen yet but the process will soon start.
The Paterson Foundation is providing $200,000 over the next 2-years.
