Red Lake BDO Office Receives Trophy

The BDO office in Red Lake is being recognized for their efforts during last year’s Drive Away Hunger campaign.
The office was presented with the BDO Cup today
Peter Dunford from the Red Lake office says their fundraising efforts came down to the final day, and believes that’s what put them over in the end.
Zita Ambrocichuk, also from the Red Lake office, says they sent out emails to clients, contacted grocery stores, and put up posters to raise awareness about the campaign.
The campaign is a national initiative with offices across the country raising food for local food banks.
The trophy resembles the Stanley Cup.
Red Lake collected over 4,400 pounds of food per employee.
All of the donations stay in the community.
