The Red Lake Miners scored early but couldn’t continue the momentum in a 4-1 setback to the Kam River Fighting Walleye at home Thursday night.
Colton Crysler opened the scoring but the SIJHL leading Fighting Walleye followed up with two goals in the second and two more in the third.
Kam River outshot Red Lake 39-30.
