Red Lake Fire 124 is causing major headaches for Red Lake residents.
The fire is now 6,713 hectares in size and continues to grow.
The blaze is about 35-kilometres away from the community and is burning in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park between Knox and Murdock Lake.
Air and ground attack continues on the fire and the Ministry of Natural Resources has deemed it one of its top priority fires.
Smoke continues to consume Red Lake due to prevailing winds.
The smoke is also drifting into Dryden and Sioux Lookout.
