Red Lake area business leaders will be recognized this month as the Chukuni Communities Development Corporation holds its first Business Awards.
Manager Cathy Quesnel-Loessel was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday to announce the awards dinner will be held on October 17th.
Seven awards will be handed out at the gala; Employee of the Year, Business of the Year (different categories), Customer Service Excellence, Business Supporting Youth, Citizen and/or Group of the Year and Home-based Business.
A committee of judges was formed to pick the individual winners.
Quesnel-Loessel says they are trying to have an evening where businesses can celebrate one another.
Tickets are available at the Chukuni Communities Development Corporation Office or Red Lake Legion.
Dinner will be served by Antonio’s.
