Red Lake Heli-Pad

Construction of a new Helicopter pad for the Margaret Cochenour Hospital in Red Lake is underway.
The Heli-Pad has been stuck on the drawing board for nearly 12 years.
Executive Director Ken McGeorge says it will make operations more efficent.
Construction is expected to wrap up in about 3 weeks.
The project costs $234,000, with the Province footing 96% of the bill.
