The McGuinty Liberals are helping Hospitals balance their books with a
one-time $200 million bailout package.
However it’s not known if the Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital will
see any money.
CEO Ken McGeorge says they have told the Province they need $150,000 to help balance their books.
McGeorge says rural Hospitals can’t continue to operate under the current funding formula but he believes the McGuinty Government is taking steps to improve the situation.
The Dryden Regional Health Centre likely won’t see a cent as the
facility is one of few not facing a deficit.
