Red Lake Man Charged With Assault

A Red Lake man is facing assault charges after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and her daughter.
OPP say a 48-year-old man is in custody in connection with a disturbance at a Howey Street apartment yesterday.
Police say when officers arrived they found the man, who had been drinking, locked out of the apartment.
He had been smashing the windows with his arms to get in and suffered a serious cut to one arm.
Police say the man is facing two charges of assault and one charge of mischief under five thousand dollars.
