A Red Lake man is one of 22-people arrested in the largest child porn
investigation in the Province’s history.
20-year-old Matthew McDougall was arrested Monday and made a brief
court appearance Tuesday.
McDougall has been charged with 2-counts of possession of child
pornography and 1-count of making available child pornography.
He will appear in Kenora court Wednesday for a bail hearing.
Commissioner Julian Fantino calls the province wide charges “a brutal
crime committed by despicable predators.”
Fantino issued what he called “fair warning to pedophiles” —
“You can run, but you can’t hide and sooner or later we will
identify you, we will arrest you and we will bring you to justice.”
