Proof that even if your vacationing in Hawaii, you can still be elected into a Chair’s position.
That’s the case for Red Lake Mayor Phil Vinet who was elected Chair at the first Kenora District Services Board meeting of 2011.
Vinet expressed interest in the position before he left and was unopposed.
There are 11 new faces on the 13-member Board of Directors.
Councilor Brian Collins is the Dryden representative.
