The newly named Red Lake Miners are preparing for their home opener against the Thunder Bay North Stars Friday.
That game will be taking place at the Cochenour Arena at 7:30.
Friday afternoon, TJ’s Qwik Stop will host the Miners at a meet and greet with team members as well. The Meet the Miners Barbecue event will take place at TJ’s from 11am to 2pm. You can meet the team and grab a bite to eat with all proceeds going towards the Red Lake Miners hockey team.
