Red Lake Outfitters Fined

Two Red Lake tourist operators have been fined a total of $5,000 for several fishing-related offences.
Heinz Schwerdtfeger was fined for selling baitfish without the authority of a licence.
Ingrid Schwerdtfeger as fined for making a false statement to a conservation officer and being a party to fishing without a licence.
The two are banned from selling baitfish for the next 3-years.
The fines stem from an incident last July at Stormer Lake.
