Red Lake Seeing Bulk of Forest Fires

The Ministry of Natural Resources continues to concentrate on two large forest fires burning in the Red Lake area.
Red Lake Fire 84 is nearly 43,000 hectares in size and Red Lake Fire 124 is over 16,000 hectares in size.
Both fires are not under control.
Information Officer Kathy Crampton says 39-fires continue to burn in the Red Lake District.
Crampton is asking all commercial aircraft to stay away from the fires out of the safety of the firefighters, waterbombers and the public.
She adds the smoke that has been lingering around Red Lake should blow away sometime in the next couple of days.
