Red Lake Sexual Assaults

Red Lake OPP are becoming increasingly concerned with the number of reported sexual assaults.
Police responded to two separate incidents last week.
OPP say a 55-year-old Sandy Lake man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident near Highway 105 and Hammell Road.
Police say a female victim was allegedly grabbed by an intoxicated man.
And OPP say a 33-year-old North Spirit Lake man has been charged after an incident on Howey Street in Red Lake.
Police say the female victim reported she was walking with a male acquaintance when the man pulled her aside and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
