Red Lake Will Participate In Global Movement

New Starts for Women is encouraging residents in the Red Lake area to join in the “One Billion Rising” movement.
It’s a world-wide campaign to end violence against women and girls.
Executive Director Kathy Campbell also encourages the men in the community to honor their women by attending and rising with the group, or making an effort to rise at their workplace.
The event is being held at the Chip Wagon on Howey Street, starting at noon.
