Redevelopment Plan for Sandy Beach Park

Calling it “Dryden’s Best Kept Secret”, the City’s Director of Community Services is ready to showcase it to the rest of Canada.
Bill Latham has presented Council with a redevelopment plan for Sandy Beach Park.
Latham says a lot of work is needed in preparation for the 2010 National Windsurfing Championship.
He says they hope to replace the washroom, add new railings and conduct concrete repairs.
Latham adds stabilizing the bank near the beach is high on the priority list.
He says the goal is to make Sandy Beach Park a true destination for residents and visitors.
