Hydro One is becoming more forest-friendly.
The company is starting a program in the Dryden area that will see 43,000 trees planted this spring.
That’s about the same number of trees it cuts down in the region to build transmission lines and to prevent power outages.
Hydro One says the reforestation program may be expanded across the province next year, depending on the success in the Dryden area.
