Region Celebrates National Aboriginal Day

Aboriginals across the region celebrated National Aboriginal Day yesterday.
A Pow Wow was held at Coopers Park in Dryden to mark the occassion.
Eagle Lake Chief Arnold Gardner says Coopers Park holds signifigance for the elder generation as several gatherings were held at the site.
Gardner says National Aboriginal Day allows natives to stand up and remember tradition and heritage.
