Regional Diabetes Office in Kenora

The Northern Diabetes Health Network is expanding.
A Northwestern Ontario branch office has opened in Kenora.
Regional Coordinator Lauri-Ann Marshall says there is a real need for diabetes support programs in this area.
Marshall says about 10% of the population in Northwestern Ontario has diabetes, but that number jumps to about 25% in aboriginal communities.
