Another British Columbia trucker has been busted trying to take a load of pot east.
Officers at the West Hawk Lake Weigh Scale stopped a truck over the weekend as part of their routine inspections of commercial regulations.
After finding 1 hockey bag filled with marijuana, they obtained a search warrant and found 11 more tucked in a crate.
45-year-old John Peter Gauthier, of Abbotsford, B.C., is charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
The estimated worth of the drugs is $5 million.
