A great result for the Northwestern Ontario Sting at a girls hockey tournament held in Duluth over the weekend.
The Sting, represented by girls under the age of 12 from across the region, leveled the competition en route to the championship final.
The girls fell in the gold medal game 6-1.
Dryden’s McKenna Corvello scored the Sting’s lone goal.
