The Conservative candidate for the Kenora riding is putting a heavy emphasis on regional needs and issues during the federal election campaign.
Eric Melillo says his government would focus on housing, improvements to Internet and infrastructure projects across the region.
He adds they will ensure small businesses as well as the tourism and forestry industries have the supports they need to recover from COVID-19.
Melillo says other federal parties are offering more deficits and big government spending that would hinder the country’s economic development.
The incumbent says the Conservatives would concentrate on recovering our economy.
Melillo says the priority is securing new jobs and supporting northwestern Ontario as part of that pledge.
He admits its been good to visit area communities again.
