Provincial Police in northwestern Ontario are reaching out to all All-Terrain Vehicle and snowmobile riders with a message of safety.
A public awareness campaign is underway and Constable Diana Cole says drivers continue to ignore some very common rules.
Cole says alcohol consumption, excessive speed, lack of helmet use and a lack of experience continue to be the major contributing factors that cause severe injuries or death.
Cole notes if these repeated messages save even one life, it’s worth the effort.
