Regional Parks Still at 7% GST Rate

Caliper Lake and Sioux Narrows south of Kenora are the only 2
Provincial Parks in the Region that have adjusted their camping rates to
reflect a 6% GST rate.
Ministry of Natural Resources Spokesperson Bruce Von Stall Dunnen
says the problem lies with the corporate software they use for reservations.
He says they hope to have all parks up to speed later this month.
He adds the Provincial Parks do not get to keep the extra 1%
as its being sent back to Ottawa.
