Riverview School is the head of the class among area Elementary Schools when it
comes to reading, writing and math skills.
The Dryden facility received an 8 out of 10 rating in the 2006 Fraser
Institute rankings of about 2,800 Ontario schools.
Riverview finished in the top 310 in the province.
Sioux Mountain Public improved on its 0.1 rating last year, with a 2.3, while North Star Public in Atikokan was near the bottom at 1.6.
