Regional Special Olympics Bowling

Dryden area bowlers did very well this past weekend in Thunder Bay at the Regional Special Olympics Bowling.

In the men’s division Daniel Brown (429), Bob Roche (452) and Paul Wragg (361) scored Gold. Leslie Catlin brought home Silver (257). Also in the men’s division Michael Kempert (447), John McMillan (443), Brayden Leforte (405) and Brian Hulmes (289) had Bronze medal performances on the lanes. Also a good effort by Gary Lawson who missed out on a medal in his division by just 2 points.

In the ladies division it was Gold for Katrina Oliphant (518), Christine Tetley (440) and Evelyn Hastings (332). Bringing home Silver were Mandy Brignall (488), Lauren Murray (389) and Amanda Rae (314). Bronze medals were won by Michele Schroeder (382) and Shontae Roundhead (286). Colleen Gardner had a great competition missing a medal by 2 points in her division.
