A new report from the Heart and Stroke Foundation says a woman’s risk
of dying following a heart attack or stroke is higher than that for a man.
Dr. Greg Ross is the Associate Dean of Research for the Northern
Ontario School of Medicine and says its the same case in this Region but
notes overall rates are higher than the national average.
Ross says the health care system has to work on prevention.
