Regional Team Headed to PeeWee Finals

For the first time in a long time, a team from Thunder Bay won’t be
representing the region at the Provincial PeeWee ‘AAA’ Hockey championships.
The Northwest All-Stars with players from Dryden, Ignace, Sioux
Lookout, Red Lake, Kenora and Fort Frances won the branch play-downs on the
weekend.
The All-Stars beat the Thunder Bay Kings in the deciding game.
Dryden’s Cody Kaus and Jesse Gerula and the rest of the squad will
take part in the Provincial finals starting March 31st in Thunder Bay.
