“Change your clocks, change your batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms”.
That’s the annual theme as we move our clocks back early Sunday morning.
Dryden Fire Chief Ken Kurz says a battery may last one year, but he recommends changing them on a regular basis.
Kurz says working smoke alarms are required outside bedrooms on all floors in all homes.
