Reminder to Clean Chimnies

The Wabigoon Fire Department is asking residents to conduct monthly chimney inspections.
Fire Crews were called to a Victoria Street north home Wednesday night.
Wabigoon Fire Fighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Officials say minor smoke damage was contained to the immediate area of the furnace and crews removed a large amount of creosote and soot from the chimney.
No one was injured.
